Paper tea bags trap delicate essential oils, while cheap tea balls overflow and leave stray leaves floating in your cup. Episode #2 of our Masterclass Series unlocks pristine, whole-leaf steeping without extra hardware. By securing the mesh filter beneath the brew-through lid, whole tea leaves have full room to unfurl—extracting nuanced floral, earthy, or sweet notes directly into the smooth, neutral environment of the ceramic-coated interior.

Step-by-Step Guide
-
Set Up: Secure the Cone Mesh Filter to the bottom of the lid, then twist the lid onto the tumbler.

-
Pour Water: Slowly pour hot water directly through the lid's brew-through opening into the tumbler.
-
Steep: Let the tea leaves steep for 3–5 minutes.
-
Close & Go: Secure the lid into the Close position to trap heat and prevent spills.

Note: For Black and Oolong teas, detach the filter cone after steeping to arrest extraction and prevent the harsh bitterness caused by over-steeping.
